Tamil Solidarity went to the streets of Antwerp to campaign with leaflets and a petition.
The building of a new nuclear infrastructure in Koodankulam is not well known in Belgium, but the resistance against the dangers of nuclear energy is broadly shared by many people. We got very good reactions from people on the streets who agreed that protest against this nuclear time-bomb in India is necessary.
On the protest we were joined by activists from Tamil Nadu and at the end also Tamil activists originally from Sri Lanka. We exchanged contact details for joint activities.
