Yesterday, 11th October, around 70 activists helped with the leafleting campaign in Holborn against Sri Lanka’s propaganda of using top lawyers to get support for LLRC. LLRC is the commission of enquiry appointed by the Sri Lanka President Mahinda to look into the country’s final stages of the brutal civil war. Several organisations helped out including: Tamil solidarity, Act Now, BFT and university students. It was a very successful campaign and an increase in the awareness of the situation in Sri Lanka as 2000 leaflets and 5000 DVD of the Channel 4 ‘s “Sri Lanka Killing Field” were distributed.
